A thoroughly enjoyable and fruitful weekend course was held at our Broughty Ferry dojo on Nov 26/27 2011 with a number of promotions gained in the lower kyu grade area. the kids did particularly well, training for the weekend alongside the adults, with a number of them gaining double promotions. Well done to all. Also well done to the new seniors, all of whom gained their first grades.
The senior also got something out of the event, with the Sunday being dedicated to training at sutemi-waza techniques, a first look at some advanced judo for some of our members. Well done all.

This year’s Kangeiko will be held at the Institute of Sport (ISE), Dundee University. Guest instructor Sampson Sampson 6th Dan. Course date 10 – 12th February 2012.The course will include a training session on the Friday evening, two outdoor events, meal on the University campus. Course fee £50. A non-returnable deposit is recommended since places are limited. More details to emerge later.
